PREAMBLE
The Department of Computer Application of Marian College, Kuttikanam operates several programmes to promote IT led growth. Those implemented include knowledge enhancement measures, MATRIX national level programmes for technology development.

The mission of the Department of Computer Application is to enhance knowledge and skills in information technology among the prospective students in the schools of Kerala.

TEST DESIGN
The test includes 5 categories according to the grade norms as specified in the brochure. The base design of the entire category is given below.

SCORING

All the questions will be of multiple choices with 5 options. The students have to choose the correct response. The correct response will be awarded with a score of 4 marks and each wrong answer will be deducted a penalty of -1 marks from the total score.

MAXIMUM TIME

The maximum number of questions will be 40, and the maximum time allotted to answer will be 45 minutes
